Sam is co-owner of FAST. He is an active Phoenix Police Officer with 16 years experience on the force as a patrol officer and a Detective. Sam is Certified as a POST and DPS firearms instructor. Sam is also Certified by the DPS to provide instruction for Armed Security Guards certification and renewal. He has taught CCW classes for the past 6 years.

Dr. Palmer is co-owner of FAST. He is a Certified NRA instructor for Basic Pistol and Personal Protection in the Home. Sam is also Certified by the DPS to teach Arizona CCW classes and instruction for Armed Security Guards. He has been an avid shooter for over 25 years and has been assisting with CCW classes for the past 2 years. Dr. Palmer is an alumni of the Phoenix Police Citizens Academy and the FBI Citizens Academy. He is currently an Investigator for a State Agency.

Brian has been a certified AZPOST General Instructor since 2003. Since that time, he has instructed members of the Phoenix Police Department and other agencies in topics ranging from tactics to terrorism.
Brian is the founder/president of The Centurion Project, Inc. Since its inception in 2005, he has traveled to various regions of the world to conduct training. Of significance, he has been the lead or assistant lead instructor on five 40-hour SWAT schools. In total, he has been the lead instructor on approximately 6 trips overseas and has been on a total of 9 trips to instruct internationally.
He is also the published author for the Tactical Edge, a publication of the National Tactical Officer’s Association.

Nick has practiced the law since 1991, starting as an administrative law prosecutor for the State of Arizona before becoming an assistant attorney general in the Criminal Division of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. Since 1999 he has been in private practice, working in the areas of criminal defense, administrative and licensing law, civil litigation, and estate planning and probate. He has a fascination with firearms and the law of firearm ownership and use, and has represented both the State and criminal defendants in firearms-related matters. He does not consider himself a great shot.
